September 18, 2014 at 10:33 am Now c’mon guys. PJ may be a lot of things, but I don’t get the man hater vibe at all. Truth be told my guess is she likes men a great deal, or at least some men. She just has a very different outlook than most here AND has the tendency to veer waaaaaaay off topic to promote some of her agenda. (Don’t we all on occasion?). I’m all for Obs doing what he must to keep her in check, but let’s not go down the road of bashing her for the sake of the bashing. (And that also fulfills my “good deed” quota for the week…) Bloom – RE: judging. As I said before I am an INTJ with a “J” score of 90+ (depending on how mellow I am when I test or something) I judge everyone and everything I encounter daily. I guess it never occurred to me to wonder if I’m “qualified” to judge others mostly because I know beyond all doubt I am smarter than most of the folks I encounter, and definitely more logical and rational than the vast majority. When it comes to “people”, I believe (and I do truly believe it) that I know better than them hands down. Call it arrogant, conceded, or whatever you like but it is what it is. I actually enjoy sites like this simply to debate with people that have above average IQ, and there are some seriously heavy hitters commenting here. Funny thing though, I’m not usually intimidated by the truly elite IQ types even though I realize that to them I probably look as unintelligent as “average” folks look to me. I guess that’s because I know I’m still a fair bit above average and being in IT I’ve been exposed to some really high IQ people. So who am I to judge others? One of the smartest and most logical people I know, and if the world ran by my design it would be smooth as silk. Lots of unhappy people, but shit would get done efficiently and with minimal fuss. Happiness is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but part of the problem the West is having is the elevation of happiness above all else.
